Co-Development · Safety
At Sailiz, we don’t pay to have our products worn: we co-develop them. Djemila sails in the prototypes, shares real-world feedback, and every version builds on what the sea has taught her.
Our approach is built on iteration. Djemila first put the black component through its paces in the field, allowing us to validate its key performance points: waterproofness, abrasion resistance, and breathability. To meet the Route du Rhum’s safety requirements, the final kit was then adapted in high-visibility orange.
The final version switches to orange, a highly visible color, with an HV hood and plenty of reflectors. If a sailor falls overboard, she can be spotted day or night.
Safety First
When you’re sailing solo, no one sees you fall overboard. The racing kit is designed so you can be found fast, day or night.
The part that stays out of the water is the most visible: an HV hood, easy to spot from far away.
Our logos and prints are reflective and spread across the entire outfit, bouncing back a spotlight’s beam at night.
The series switches to orange: far more visible on the water than the prototype’s black.
Women’s ergonomics and fit: more freedom of movement during maneuvers, a more agile practice, and therefore safer.
An offshore wardrobe built on real-world expertise, produced as a range for sailing that can take anything.
Our prototypes were sailed in real conditions. Every sign of wear, every seam was noted, tested, and refined for ultra-tough, long-lasting products.
We embrace versions: V1, V2… each iteration makes the outfit more accurate, higher-performing, and more ergonomic.
