Our Story

How many times have you put on overalls that were too long, too wide at the shoulders, with sleeves that swallowed you? How many times have you thought, “this is the best I can find,” when choosing technical sailing gear?

It’s precisely this realization that gave birth to Sailiz. Because women represent more than a third of sailors, yet almost all technical gear is designed for male body types.

Founded in Lorient, in the heart of maritime Brittany, Sailiz is the first technical sailing brand 100% dedicated to women.

Our first offshore bibs, the result of 20 months of research and development in collaboration with professional female sailors, have been designed down to the smallest detail: non-slip straps, a cut that follows your movements, accessible pockets, and an adjustment that allows you to helm, maneuver, and live on board in complete comfort.

Today, we are a passionate team that grows every day, driven by the same conviction: you deserve gear that is truly adapted to you.

Every Sailiz product is tested in real offshore racing conditions and on different types of boats in all sailing situations. Because your safety and comfort at sea are our absolute priority.
