Our team or specialized partners carry out the repair with the same care as during manufacturing. We use identical or equivalent materials to guarantee quality.

You're Back at Sea

We send you back your repaired gear, ready for new adventures. And you’re set for years of sailing!

Estimated timeframe: Depending on the nature of the repair and our schedule, allow 2 to 4 weeks. We always do our best to be quick, but we prioritize quality workmanship.

What Is Covered

2-Year Warranty + Lifetime Repair: All our products are guaranteed for 2 years under normal use. Beyond this period, our lifetime repair commitment takes over to support you throughout your gear’s lifecycle.
  • Normal wear and tear: Loose seams, faulty zippers, worn Velcro, snaps coming off
  • Tears: Snags, holes from normal use
  • Parts replacement: Cords, elastic, reinforcements that degrade over time

What about end-of-life?

Even when your gear can no longer be repaired, we don’t abandon it. We take back end-of-life products to give them new value through upcycling (giving them a second life in another form) or, if that’s not possible, to have them recycled by our specialized partners. Because at Sailiz, nothing is lost, everything is transformed.

Limitations of Our Commitment

Our warranty covers normal wear and tear and manufacturing defects. It does not cover intentional damage, unauthorized modifications, or damage caused by clearly inappropriate use (e.g., storage in direct sunlight for months, contact with aggressive chemicals). If in doubt, contact us; we will always find a solution.

Caring for Your Gear

To ensure your gear lasts as long as possible, here are some simple care tips:

Freshwater Rinse

After each sea outing, rinse your gear with fresh water to remove salt, which accelerates the wear of fabrics and fasteners.

Shade Drying

Dry your gear flat or on a hanger, in the shade. UV rays and direct heat can degrade technical fabrics and seams.

Proper Storage

Store your gear in a dry, airy place, never compressed for long periods. Avoid airtight bags, which can create humidity.

Gentle Washing

If necessary, machine wash at 30°C with a mild detergent, without fabric softener. Do not tumble dry. Always follow the care label.
